Scholarships Awarded

During the President’s Reception Nancy Stewart announced this year’s Auxiliary scholarship winners.

A $1,250 scholarship was awarded to Angi Rich who is attending Bradley University with a major in Construction Management. She was sponsored by Tammy Rich Stimson.

Taylor Lynn Nickols, sponsored by Joan Flader, was given a $1,250 scholarship towards her education at Western Michigan University. Taylor is majoring in Criminal Justice/Pre-law.

A $1,250 Scholarship was awarded to Jamie Bargiel who is attending the Kishwaukee College with a major in Nursing. She was sponsored by John Jangelis

Nancy Stewart is Scholarship Chairman and her committee members are Joan Flader and June Stewart.

Congratulations and Best Wishes to all the recipients in their future endeavors.


National Auxiliary Scholarships Available
The Women's Auxiliary, PHCC-NA will be awarding scholarships at the 2007 convention in Anaheim. Students may request applications and copies of the scholarship rules by contacting Donna Zubrod, 15836 E. Mustang Drive, Fountain Hills, AZ 85268, zubyphcc@aol.com.

Picture This
The Illinois Auxiliary will be taking pictures at the PHCC Expo. Auxiliary members will man a booth at the Expo where they will take Polaroid pictures to be used by journeyman and apprentice plumbers for their license renewals. This is a great service to those in the Industry and has become an annual event.

Officers Elected
The following officers were duly elected at the 2009 annual meeting of the Auxiliary. President, Donna Jany; Vice President, Becky Davis; Secretary, Deatra Hicks; and Treasurer, Nancy Stewart.

Display the PHCC Logo With Pride

As a part of a PHCC-NA Auxiliary project, the Illinois Auxiliary is selling license plate frames that display the PHCC logo and the phrase, "Trust a Professional". They are priced at $15.00 and are available from any Auxiliary member. These make nice gifts and also look great on your shop trucks. Your purchase will generate profits for the Illinois Auxiliary and will also create public awareness of the PHCC logo.
